Me: Sienna let's go down by Oma"
Sienna: "So I can play with my tools"
Me: "Yes, so I can go to the drugstore"
Sienna: "to get Oma's medicine"
Me: Yes that's right"
Sienna: "I remember everything"

Ratting out Oma

Today I made a small cup of chocolate italian ice & sat down to eat it. Sienna comes running over & sits on the couch with me so she can share. As she's eating it she says. "No tell daddy. We be quiet. Shhh (with fnger to lips), we be very quiet".

Where did she get this? From Oma of course. When Oma sneaks her a cookie, she tells her "no tell momy or daddy, we be quiet". I think Sienna will be a good secret-keeper as she han't ratted out Oma, but I have guessed it. Someone had to have taught her.

Library embarassment

We went to the library today. Sienna loves going there. She is constantly getting books for me to read. She brings me a book titled "What are feet for". We are at a table, the librarian is at her desk next to us, another women with her kid at the other table. I ask Sienna "Sienna what are feet for?" Her reply: "for kicking mommy". The women burst out laughing. I said yes & when she kicks me it's always in my stomache.

On the way home I realized that they might be picturing this little girl just kicking me for no reason. I couldn't stop laughing to myself. What I really meant was when we are laying doen, she just can't be still, she's always kicking her legs or elbowing me. I guess I should have been ambarassed but it was just too funny.

This morning Jerry bought Sienna to bed with me. She actually cuddled with me for like 20 minutes. At one point though she started saying "I wanna kiss daddy",  "I wanna hug daddy"

Was by mommy's huse. I said "Sienna we have to go home. Mommy has to go buy oma medicine". She says "yeah Oma is so hungry"

When we got home in driveway, she takes a cookie out of her cupholder & says "I give Oma a cookie". A minute later "I want Oma be happy"

I put her in the crib for nap & a few minutes later hear "daddy...?, mommy...?, oma...?, where is evrybody?"

Play date

Sienna had her first real paly date today. Robyn, who I met on the Bump, came over with her son Aaron who is just a few weeks younger than Sienna. At first Sienna was a little nervous to meet Robyn. Yesterday when I told ther they were coming she kept saying "I no want Robyn come over" or "I want Robyn stay in kitchen with mommy". But after them being here like 2 minutes Sienna was chatting away to Robyn & Aaron. They were playing really nice most of the time. There were a few times were Sienna became possesive of her things, like her alphabet magnets, & want the letter Aaron happened to be holding. She got a little whiney, but was better after I fed her. Before they left Aaron & Sienna were in her room & Robyn asked Aaron to give Sienna her goofy & he threw a small tantrum. He was laying on the floor & got part of himeslf under the futon, his head mainly. I was envisioning myself pregnant lifting the futon. Luckily we were able to slide him out before he hurt himself. What was really cute was when Sienna started hugging him. At one point she tackled him to the ground in a hug. LOL It was a nice day. Hopefully we can do it again.

I was putting my bra on in front of Sienna & she yells "Mommy I want a bra. Mommy buy me a bra and put it on my belly button"

In front of Babca & Dziadzu I ask Sienna if she wants a baby sister & she got so mad. She starts yelling " I no want a sista, I wanna bruder". Dziadzu says I'm going to have a problem if I have a girl. Hopefully she'll get over it quickly if that happens.

1st Beach day 2011

Jerry took off this Friday so we can go to the beach. We went to Long Branch. Went out to breakfast...Carolyn met us. I haven't seen her since the boys Bar Mitzvah so that was nice. Sienna behaved very well at breakfast. They gave some crayons & paper so it was a good distraction. She was quite talkative. We went our separate ways after breakfast because Carolun had plans. We hit the beach. Schlepped alot of stuff. Sienna played pretty nicely under the umbrellas in the sand. When we took her to the water she did not want to touch it. She seemed to be afraid of the waves & the rocks. She was even yelling at he birds to get out of the water, I think she was afraid they might drown. She was very clingy. I think we got off the beach about 2:00. We put all the stuff in car & then walked around trying to figure out what to eat. She was so tired she fell asleep in the stroller. All we got was pizza so that didn't take long. Then we stopped to get an iced coffee & she woke up. Crap that was only a 20 minute nap. By the time we got into the car to go she was wide awake. We hit alot of traffic on the way home. She whined all the way. She wanted music on, not this music, it's too loud, wah wha wah. It took 2 hours to get home. That was the longest 2 hours ever.

As soon as we got home we dropped her off downstairs & she was happy as can be. Put her to bed at 8:00, it took her almost an hour to fall asleep. I was hoping she would sleep through the night but nope...she was restless. She woke about 3:00, chatting up a storm. I think she fell back asleep within half hour. Then she got up again at 5:00. erry went to give her milk. He lay down with her on the futon & after about 10 minutes she siad "daddy you go pee pee, I go my crib" He told me that this morning & I was hysterical. When I put her to sleep that is how I get out of the room, I tell her I have to peepee.
